Why does my playstation two play some ps or ps2 games and not others?

It plays some newer ones, and some older ones, but their are still some of each that it doesn’t play. The playstation screen will sometimes come up after a few minutes, but it rarely goes on to the next screen. From what I can see inside my consul, it’s pretty dusty. Is that why?

Yeah electronic hates dust because its hard to get good airflow both ways. My computer turned often off and overheated all the time. So I got the vacuum cleaner and open the thing and sucked out the dust inside. Now its like day and night effect. So in other word open the console and vacuum the whole thing.
