Whats the difference between the Xbox 360 and the Xbox Elite?

i was thinking of buying an xbox, but i have heard of many stories that the xbox breaks alot, overheats etc… but the elite doesnt? and if i do buy the xbox what should i do to prevent it from breaking?

    i’ll make it easy on you. DO NOT BUY AN XBOX 360 if any kind. I got one two weeks ago, biggest waste of my money ever.

    Well, Elites are supposed to be more sturdy. My 360 is great. I give it a lot of breathing space and it doesn’t overheat…

    get a nyko xbox fan, I have a regular and It has never gave me problams

    the reason the xboxs break is because they have a bad fan, get a good fan for about 10 bucks never breaks,

    I played 16 hours straight and it didn’t break

    Elite and normal,as well as Acade Xbox 360s have absolutely NO other technical differences besides the ones I stated above.

    Xbox 360′s do have a tendance to break. I’m now on my third in two years. Microsoft have extended their warranty on it to three years if you get the three red lights (overheating). Other than that you have three months.

    They’re worth getting but only if you are gonna use xbox live. That allows you to play various games online against other users around the world.

    My third xbox i have is an elite. It’s still going strong and showing no sign of breaking after 10 months of use.

    well now the new ones have a falcon chip so that its doesn’t over heat, but just in case you shouldn’t cover the air vent things, but if i was u i would get it its a really good console
