I was playing COD and my game froze. I restarted it and I got the 3 rrod. After 30 minutes of restarting my system the red rings would show up sometimes and my Xbox would work others. I prolly got rrod about 12 times but it’s back on now and I am playing. Everything is plugged in so I don’t think that is the problem. How long until my Xbox officially dies for good?

I have an Xbox 360 that i have already had to send back because it got the ring of death, now it is having problems again. My Xbox keeps overheating at my house after playing it for only 5 minutes but if i go to my friends house it never overheats. Is it a problem with my X box or is it problems with the power at my house?
I have tried all of the suggestions listed on xbox.com. and i have tried every outlet in my house.

What I am wondering is what is the difference between the different Xbox 360 consoles apart from the price?

My son is the gamer not me and he seems happy with it, we only want it for playing games not really bothered about HD or Xbox live. Can’t you just tell I am thick at all things like this! Don’t answer THAT!
